How It All Started

It all began when people settled along the banks of the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers. They all, were like farmers, they used the natural resources to grow the crops. Realizing that socializing with other cities could form trades and support, when the rivers flooded and washed the crops away, together those small villages came together to form irrigation systems and using the flooding to their advantage. Soon those villages became towns, cities then finally grew into powerful city-states.
